Hi all, I have recently had an electrical problem on my mk3 Mondeo where by I had to disconnect the battery. All is well except for my electric windows they go fully down with one click of the switch, but I have to hold the switch down until the window is fully up again.Can anyone tell me how to programme them so they go back up with one click again please.

to reset the windows

press switch down untill window fully open

release switch for one second

press switch down again and hold in down position for five seconds

repeat for up position and any other windows that require reseting

this should reset the windows and global closing.

Thanks Mintalkin, worked like a charm, thought I would have to lay out more money on my car :)

for guys with the MK4, you need to press and hold down, when it stops going down - hold the button for a further 5 seconds then let go, then roll the window up and when it stops, hold on for another 5 seconds then let go. This may need to be done for all the windows.
