Hi, How do I remove BlaupunctTravelPilotEX from dash to get ser# and mod# for a new Keycode? Focus Zetec 1.8 MK2.

    If you have the old square shape stereo you will need keys to remove it.

    If you have the new rounded one just prize off the surrounding trim and remove the four screws and it pulls out.

    Looks like i,ve got the square type, can you explain what you mean by 'keys' doesnt seem to be any signs of where to start to take anything off without damaging the facia.

    As far as I know there are four slots one on each corner of the stereo, you need to buy keys to remove it ( off eBay not expensive) insert keys push keys outward and pull, the stereo should come out.

    Finally found a small sticky label in the glovebox all details were on it and they worked!! Hane now noted them everywhere. Thanks a lot for your help much appreciated billda.
