hi i dont really know much about cars but have a 55 plate zetec there is rust on the chassis is this normal for the age of car and what can be done about it any help appreciated

    go back to the dealer and see if anything can be done under there anti corrosion warrenty.

    Had exactly the same on my '05 plate focus I had a short while ago and have to say I was quite disgusted when I saw it, especially as the car was 0nly 2.5 years old with about 4,000 miles on the clock!! ended up buying some waxoyl underseal and wire brushing down the affected areas and then applying the underseal, have to say the rear cross member was in the worst state.
