2.0 Tdci Engine Temp

Featured Replies

Hi, I've just had the engine cooling fan control module changed under safety recall. Previously my temp was always just below the 1/4 mark. Now it's at 1/2 mark. Should I be concerned???

You should have been concerned when it sat at a quarter. It is now where it should be.

Sorry to be thick but why should I be concerned if it was too cool?

engines are designed to work at specific temps if it was running cool all the time youll have increased engine wear lower mpg thats just for a start when it comes to engines you want cool air through the intake for better power but the engine itself has to run at strict tolerances temperature wise to work properly
