i was looking to buy some coilovers for my focus and saw these and just was wondering how would you mount these onto the front struts because usually the spring locates into the cup and wouldnt these just moove about under cornering?

to mount those you cut off the standard spring cup and weld the threaded part of those to the standard shock, not worth the hassle, just buy coilovers

Do they fit inside the original cups and provide adjustment within?

like i said above, you remove the spring cup off the standard shock
