Releasing Brake Opens Boot!!

My problem is exactly as in the title - when I release the brake the boot unlocks and opens. It seems to be at the time when the brake lights switch off. It's not dangerous as it won't open when driving but rather annoying as I have to then close it when I've reached my destination.

It did happen about 8 weeks ago but then fixed itself after 2 days..

Anyone heard of anything like this before?
