I'm new here so apologies if this is in the wrong place lol.

I have just sold my S reg Rover 218 1.8 vvc coupe, insurance group 17 paying about £370 a year Fully comp.

Im 40 with 5 years protected no claims bonus.

I have bought a T reg Ford Fiesta zetec 1.25 group 5 I think and my isurance premiums have gone up by £14 a MONTH!!! this is like £200 a year

ANY IDEAS!!??

I cant fathom it out at all.............all other insurance details have not changed!

    As i'm sure you know, Insurance costs have gone up by 30% for most of us. No matter how old you are. You can blame the 1 million + uninsured drivers for this. Have you tried another company? Sometimes different insurance companies are cheaper on different cars, not just your age and location.

    My insurance went up by £500 this year for no reason, so i left the company i was with and found another who was some £600 less then my old company.
