Mk 7 Front Ford Badge Repacement Advice?

Featured Replies

Can anyone advise procedure for removal and replacement of the front Ford badge on a Mk 7?

Mine has been damaged by a stone and I need to replace it.

Badge can be purchased here

Thanks in advance!

HHere's what I done a couple mth ago.....

Get a flat screwdriver and wedge it behind the badge, and give it short sharp pulls just to wedge it out a little at a time.once there was enough of the badge bent forward, I used a set of pliers and grabbed it and spinned the pliers slowly to wind the badge.off and round about the pliers. keeping one hand on the grille to make sure the grille isn't getting pulled forward

It's just stuck on with adhesive, as long as ur slow and careful, you'll be absolutely fine. just remember to clean and dry the grill before putting new badge on.

If you fancy a change of colour buy one of these and stick it over the top :)
