12V Power Socket Fuse Blown

Featured Replies

Hi guys, remember talking about the 12v power point in another thread in this sub forum.

My fuse blown yesterday and on taking it out noticed it's a 15amp. I can't see any mention in the manual whether it is a 15amp or 20amp fuse which is supposed to be fitted.

Orcomma said in another post that the 12v power point system is rated at 10amp but with a 20amp fuse fitted? Shall I put in another 15amp or another 20amp? I know this seems like a stupid question but there's no point putting another 15amp in if it's gonna blow again lol...

Hope someone can help a newbie :D

Dan

it's 20 amp in the mk7 but in your mk5 it's 15 amp.
