Yeah really good day, first time to ford fair and i think i will continue to keep going. I think the drive there is the best part of it with all the fords everywhere.

I noticed on your project thread the power button, will that fit a mk6? Or is there a different one for the mk6, if so you know where i could get one?

It will fit a mk6, however you need to decide where you want to mount it.

Some mount it where the cigarette lighter is, I mounted mine in the tray under the handbrake.

You will need to choose which bezel you want

Either Ford Part Number 1503170

Or Ford Part Number 1667755

Then you will need to buy the actual start button, Ford Part Number 1459645

These can all be purchased from your local Ford dealer

You can use this guide http://fiestamk7.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=19

But you will need to use a multimeter on your ignition plug to find which wires you require

Using the wiring diagram in the above guide, for connection '2' from your ignition barrel, locate which wire shows 12v when the key is at stage 2 but shows no voltage when the key is at position 0

Then find which wire briefly shows 12v when you turn the key to start the engine, this will be your connection '3' on the diagram

I'll definitely be going next time, you usually go with a club, for example I went with FiestaOwnersClub. I bought my tickets through them and then they send you a stand pass.

I'm quite surprised FordOwnersClub didn't have a stand seeings it's the biggest Ford show of the year :S
