Fiesta Style+

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I am thinking about buying a Fiesta mk 7, I will only be able to afford the 1.25 Fiesta Style+ though. I have driven the 1.25 Zetec, 1.4 Zetec and 1.6 Zetec s with work and all 3 of them have been brilliant. This will be my second car, so I want something cheap with insurance and decent on fuel ecomony. What is the Fiesta 1.25 style like? has it got the same engine in as the Zetec? Would you advise me to buy one? Is the interior cheap? Would it be okay on the motorway? Is it comfortable? Are there any common faults with these?

A lot of questions I know, but I didn't research my current car at all (Vauxhall Corsa) and I've had a lot of problems with it.

Cheers,

Grayson.

are you planning on buying brand new? If so.... I'd recommend getting something a bit bigger and getting it a year or two old, at leas you will still have warranty left.

No I was planning on getting it 2 or 3 years old. The insurance is pretty stupid on something over 1.25 for me.

cool. Well I haven't driven the 1.25, but I haven't heard any complaints either and I use 3 different fiesta forums, so can't be bad at all :D

The 1.25 comes in two variants, a 60psi and an 82psi version, the 82 is a bit more powerful. You'll get around 38mpg in town. Interior is decent and seats are pretty comfy.

It's perfectly capable on the motorway too.

Cheers for the replys guys! It's been very helpful.

the 60ps version only comes with the basic modle, Style + is fits inbetween stype and Zetec. So you will have the larger engine. i love my style+ it does what i need.

my mum has a squeeze green fiesta style plus 58 plate 1.25 82 bhp and she loves it , the engine is good for its size and sounds quite burburly and snorty :)

also the seats and interior trim are basicly the same as the zetec but it has gun metal grey inserts rather than silver, id definatly click the bluetooth option though as the head unit looks better you get a bigger screen and also two extra speakers, other than that keep it standard :)
