My Fiesta Mk6 Accelorator Plug..

Featured Replies

Hi, Recently my 2004 fiesta 1.25 duratec. Was running fine. Until the accelerator plug came unplugged while the engine was ticking over! I plugged it back in straight away and turned of the engine, when i started it again it seemed finethen about 5mins later the rev dropped below 500 and the gas pedal stopped working? The engine management light is on and it keeps doing in every so often.

Does anybody know how to reset the pedal or anything? Thanks John

quite strange that the pedal has become unplugged. is it making a good connection? if its come off once for no reason, it sounds to me like its moving about and not making proper contact.
