Dodo Juice Tyromania - Mk7 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Today i got the much talked about Dodo Juice Tyromania. This is a new product desgined for use on tyres, but can also be used on all them annoying plastic bits on our cars. Below are some pictures of how my test went...

First of all, lets see the product. It's like their normal wax, but feels much softer than say Purple Haze. It reacts to heat much quicker than their normal wax, making it go very gooey if excess heat gets to the wax. But once it cools down, it will go back to a normal state.

So, onto applying the wax onto my rear diffuser. First of all, it needs to be clean. In my case, i just used water to remove the rain drops. Once this was done, i dried it off with a microfiber towel.

After cleaning:

Once stage one was finished, its onto stage two - applying. I used a yellow foam pad (from i4detailing.co.uk) to apply the wax.

I tapped off a area to show what difference this wax will make, pictures of this are futher down.

It applies much like Purple haze, very easy and gives good coverage. Allow around 5 mins to dry to a haze. Once this is done, its onto stage 3 - buffing off. This buff's off easily and only takes a few moments to do so.

Heres a comparison of the difference, I will be honest and say it was hard to notice the difference untill i removed the tape. On the right hand side is the wax drying to a haze, the left hand side is the finished side.

Heres the finished results:

So, to summarise this is yet another great product from Dodo Juice. It's great value for money, and lasts round 2-3 months from the tests Dodo have done. It beats any other plastics cleaner i have used, and gives the best results. 9/10 from me. I say anybody willing to give it a go should try this great new item. You won't be disappointed!

I was going get some of this myself looks like pretty good results

Seems alot on the applicator tho! Does it take this much?

I was under the impression that an applicator came inside the tub? Or is that only on the bigger tub?

Thanks for doing the test :)

Nice review - but as above, how much on the applicator??

The ammount of wax on the foam pad is a lot, but it done all the plastics on my car. Thats the front and rear bumpers plus round the windows. So it does go a very long way :) The pot i have is a sample 30ml pot which does not come with its own pad. But the full sized pot does come with it.

I could of maybe got away with a little less, but with it being my first use, i was not sure how much was needed
