Mk2 Ford Focus Ventalation System Problems

Featured Replies

I have had repeated problems for the past 6 months with my focus' ventalation system. It has been back and forward to the dealer though they can find no fault. The AC compressor was replaced about 3 months ago due to a crack. The symptoms are as follows:

This is an intermittant fault, which usually occurs about 1+ into a journey:

- Air flow pressure from the ventilation system into the cabin drops significantly/stops (even on number 4 fan setting), when this occurs the small amount of airflow feels hot (even with the AC running)

- The fan appears to make a 'buffeting sound' when the above fault occurs.

Does anyone have any ideas what is causing/how to fix this issue.

Thanks

James

i take it that the pollen filter is clean and not restricting air flow?
