Wirelss Key Entry

Featured Replies

anyone fitted the wireless keyentry or pushstart (without key) retrospectively

i know it will be expensive and probably a garage jobby but just wondered if anyone had done it yet?

Nope, but I would love it..... would be one of the best retrofit mods there is.

Hopefully someone comes on and says they've looked into it....

I've got the keyless start on mine, ford fitted

I know Ben has retrofitted the push button start on his, still requires the key to position 1 tho.

How much was the whole thing?

How much was the whole thing?

id be asking if it was retro fitted first!

How much was the whole thing?

cant remember exactly im afraid, £175 pops to mind tho, could be wrong

Keyless entry and start is over £400 from Ford (fitted from new) and is only on the Titanium. I really don't think it can be fitted once the car has been built. It's way too much work to do, and would cost over £1k in total with labour i think. The keys alone will be a massive cost.

Far as i know, nobody has retrofitted a fully working keyless system.
