Mk6.5 Aux Input - Engine Noise

Featured Replies

Hey,

I love the AUX input on my car, and it works a treat...except for when I plug in my phone to the car charger at the same time (I use my phone for music). Whenever I rev the engine a bit, I get a whistling noise coming through the speakers (the higher I rev, the higher the pitch of the noise).

Anyone got any idea what could be causing this? Maybe something somewhere needs insulating?

Thanks

the problem stems from the car charger. it's not adequately smoothing the output power and you are hearing that through the phone.
