Engine Management Light Reset.

Hi all I recently had to replace the coil pack on my fiesta mk5 after the car went into wobbly mode, the engine management light came

on and after I fixed the problem (which turned out to be the coil)the engine management light is still on.

Now I know you can disconnect the battery and that resets it but it will also reset my stereo for which I dont have the code.

Is there any way of retrieving the code through the stereo itself or am I destined to have to spend money one way or the other.

Any help or suggestions would be very grateful.

    apparently the EML will reset after so many starts so you dont have to pull the battery.
