Click Sound

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have started to notice a strange click or tick noise not a clonk when I come off the accelerater around the 1200 revs in gear is this normal? Sound like it come from the passenger side front?

Ha the same in a 2008 Fiesta - A single click every time the throttle was closed to a very light setting.

I just put it down to a relay switching as you come off the gas.

You got the air con running ?

Hi, relay yes could be, I haven't got the air con on, ive been recreating it on the way home tonight while I was crawling in traffic it's more like a tap noise like knock maybe ??

You got the air con running ?

The 'click' was always when the aircon was on.

Our fiesta does it only when the air con is running, something to do with the aircon clutch or relay if I remember rightly - quite normal.

Ok thanks 

Sara, check your wheel nuts as soon as you can, a loose wheel will make a clicking noise at first then as the wheel becomes looser it turnns into more of a banging sound.
