Getting Wishbones Back On A Ka?

Featured Replies

Hello , I know this is for a KA but need help quick to get car back on the road.

I managed to get the wishbones off no problem but for the life of me cant get the

new ones back on , They are the correct ones but everything seems in the way and

to add make things worse the drive shaft as popped out while i was pushing and pulling

everything. Wish i never started now, any help appreciated?

Is there any chance of some pics? we might be able to point things out..

cheers

stef

the drive shaft will slide back in so thats not a problem

try fitting the front end 1st & tap with hammer if needed then pop the bolt in but dont do it up

then you can manouver the back end of the arm in.

u may find it easier to put the back end in 1st then the bolt then the front end

it's a fiddle so use a block of wood & a hammer then you will find it will fit.

then you attatch the balljoint that's on the hub then the steering ball joint

make sure you have the correct side your trying to fit and it's one with or without power steering as there are 2 types
