Brake Fluid Level

Featured Replies

Just changed front pads on a `57 focus, didnt bleed but just pushed back piston, lost a bit of brake fluid but level is still high and seems to be leaking from reservoir cap!thought fluid would be low and need to be topped up when pads wear and help thx.

Hi, the fluid will naturally go down a bit as the pads wear, as long as the level is between the min/max you are ok. If it is too high then a turkey baster is a good way of removing some, please make sure you don't splash any on your paintwork and the excess that is leaking out should thoroughly washed away.
