    I agree that winter tyres are expensive but I guess it would be worth it if you absolutely "had to" get to work. I'm lucky in that I can effectively work from anywhere as long as I have a PC or laptop available.

    Oh yeah, IF you have to leave the house then they are absolutely going to be worth it, but if you can get away without having to drive then so much cheaper :)

    Unfortunately my mum wont walk 1 mile let alone 50-150 miles a day! :lol

    I got the same ones mate, did you get 2 or 4? My biggest fear is getting stuck between home and work, the roads I have to take are winding b roads and up and down hills.
