Fiesta Metal Or Fiesta Zetec S?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Was wondering whether you think i should go for the Metal or the Zetec S. The difference in cost is £40 per month...Is the metal worth it?

Cheers

I wouldn't pay it no - different colour wheels, black plastic interior & 14ps more power?

If that's over 3 years it's £1,440 extra! I'd spend the money on mods I want and keep the change.

Thanks for the reply...Yeah that's what i was thinking, i mean the car is £25 per month more than the Zetec S and the insurance is £15 per month more so i am just not sure whether the black wheels, slightly more power and a different interior is worth the extra costs. I mean as soon as i saw the Metal i wanted it but in comparison to the Zetec S it doesn't seem a whole lot different.

You could change the colour of the wheels and interior plastics yourself at a later date if you wanted to, for alot less than £1440 (or whatever).

Spend that money on DRL's :D

Thanks for the reply...Yeah i am assuming that stuff could be done cheaper...Will the 14PS extra be noticeable?

but it isnt jus cosmetic changes , you also get a re calibrated engine (wich take 2 seconds of the 0-60 so yes u will notice a big diffrence) and diffrent exhaust its a limited edition so it will keep its value a lil better as well , also there 1000's and 1000's of zetec s theres only a hand full of metals.

I'd say if you were buying straight up then go for the metal. But £40 more per month extra on finance does seem a big price to pay for what's basically a Zetec S with 14ps extra, black alloys, silver fogs, exposed exhausts and black interior.

14ps doesn't sound like a lot, but it's around 13% extra.

Though if you wanted you could take a standard Zetec S to Mountune and come home with 140ps/155ps ..or wait for the ST

At the end of the day though it's up to you.

Here's the spec sheets for both, if you weren't aware as what comes standard.

Zetec S

Metal

Both great cars though.
