Will This Steering Rack Fit My 1990 Fiesta?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, My Dad recently got me an old banger, Ford Fiesta 1.1LX mk3 (I think) 1990 for when I pass my driving test (which is next week!) However the steering has gone quite stiff at times. My Dad's had a look and reckons it's a worn steering rack. I found a replacement on ebay here. He says it should fit (and for £25 I guess it's worth the risk) but do you think it will? Mine is a 1.1 mk3 as listed, however that rack is from a '95 diesel so I'm not to sure as I don't know a lot about cars.

Or shall I just take it to a garage? Not really looking to spend upwards of £100 though :/

Thoughts?
