Ambient Lighting - Confused

When you guys have the setting 'Ambient Lighting' ticked... what lights come on for you at night?

I just get that strip of red above the glovebox

Is that what the ambient lighting is? I thought the foot wells have a glow to them too when driving, mine do when I open/close the doors but they soon dim after a while and i'm left with just that red glow above the glovebox

Also, the two LEDs up by the mirror which illuminate your storage areas by the handbrake.

Ah yeh, they don't really produce much light though lol

There'a also another light in the top of the compartment in front of the handbrake - though you won't ever notice this unless you put something in there!

the sub lights by the reading lights come on, glove box strip and the strip on the lil storage compartment by the gear stick, you can wire the footwells to come on, but its more a distraction hence why they dont come on
