Oil Light

Featured Replies

Hi, i have a 2010 1600 ford fiesta zetec tdci, which has just had its first service 12500mls.But i still have the light which is in the centre of the dash saying oil change due next service, and a amber light of an oil can with a wiggly line under it in the rev counter, how do i switch these off?.Regards Tony

Was it serviced at a dealer? If so take it back and tell them to reset it.

this works for the mondeo mk4, but unsure if it will work for the fiesta, you could try.

1. Close all doors.

2. Turn the ignition key to position II.

3. Simultaneously press the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal and hold for a minimum of 15 seconds.

4. The oil change reminder indicator will turn off.
