Hi Guys(and maybe girls),

I have recently purchased my first ford, I have a Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 130 6 speed. First thoughts was what a fantastic drive with decent acceleration and great fuel economy.

Only had it a week and the other day a strange clunking noise was coming from the left hand side(while sitting in the car) only on idle, there was a pulsing at the clutch pedal(a bit like when the abs kicks in and the pedal hits your foot). I did some research and this was pointing towards the DMF, but the noise has now stopped. It was booked into the garage to have the repairs done but does it need it???. The car drives fine all gears selected easily and clutch bite is perfect, really puzzled now.

Any suggestions

Thanks in advance
