Been a Ford man since 1967 when I got a Ford Anglia 998 van for £30. Then onto a 1971 1300cc Ford Escort Mk1 with the X flow Kent engine. Next came the Ford Capri Mk1 1.6 Auto which I rebuilt the Pinto engine, one of the easiest engines ever to re-con. Ford Sierra 1.6 estate came next used to tow our caravan every week-end for mini breaks. Now the latest Ford of all a Ford Ka 'Edge' for our retirement, picks her up tomorrow at 1.0pm. Planning to run her for two/three hours straight off to bed the engine in. Whats this stop/start thing do then? Heres a pic of my 1976 Honda 400/4 I rebuilt.
