I have a 67 Galaxy 500, it has a 289, i rebuilt the carb in it a while back and it ran fine, i have not started it in a while, yesterday i started it and fuel is coming out of the fuel bowl vent on top the carb, does anyone know why it is doing this are what could be the cause. I appreciate any advice

    it may be the main float thats stuck in the down position and not stopping the fuel entering the chamber.
