Good evening i am new to this so please bear with me.

My battery was flat so i had recovery come to me who started with me with leads and told me my alternator had packed in . On the way to local garage to fix said problem i noticed i had only whisper from stereo even when on maximun volume. I have just pivked up the car after new alternator and battery and still have only a whisper . Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be thanks
