I have a ford smax 2.0l titanium 2009 plate,I had a problem with lack of power under load approx 12 months ago, and was aparently repaired with a new fuel filter housing... this problem has now returned and has for worse over time sonim doubting the fuel filter housing was to blame:(.

the car this evening cut out..everything went off incluiding cigarette lighter and car came to a sudden halt from 30 mph,luckily my wife was able to control car to a safe halt. has anyone experienced this fault before or know anything??no engine diagnostic lights have appeared??
