Cage
Hi All, I just thought I'd introduce myself. My name's Patrick, I'm from Northern Ireland and I drive around in a 2002 Mondeo TDCi which I've owned for 2 years. I also own a 1998 Escort which I bought in January and is basically for tinkering with. I'm hoping to restore it to road going condition and learn a lot along the way. So without doubt I'll be putting the FOC to good use :) I'm by no means mechanically experienced and can only look forward to reaching 'Amateur' status, but hey, we must all start somewhere. Cage
Just a quick update. I've had to sell the Escort (thanks Ulster Bank) :( My brother was good enough to offer me a fair price for it & not take advantage of the position I was in and even agreed to let me do any of the work on it that I am capable of - so on the up side I still get to flex my amateur petrol head muscles on it. So at least I can still do a bit of learning. Once I get access to my money I'll be in the market for a nice cheap wee Ford to tinker with if anyone in the Northern Ireland area has any leads please feel free to pass them on. Ulster bank are a disaster mate, its time Ulster says NO! To Ulster Bank and move to another for those who are unaware of the history with Ulster bank, they had a computer error 3 weeks ago that left people without transfers in to their accounts, and debits or bills being paid out from peoples accounts were charged twice. and people are still being charged for lack of funds in their accounts even though it is the banks error that the funds are not available. I really cannot begin to emphasise how much i hate the banks and the banks hate me mate, perticurally Permanent TSB, and a special shout out to Bank of Ireland their the biggest predator since the dinosaurs!! Shame you had to sell your motor mate, but you would pick up a nice mk6 fiesta for around 3500-4500
