FincHy
Cheers Lenny, I think it was one of your guides i used about changing the climate control knobs in my car, got the same ones you do, there spot on so firstly cheers for that! That picture in my profile is when i first got the focus 2 years ago, ill upload some newer ones soon. All I’ve done thus far is add white gel ford badges, mud flaps and removed the 'Focus' 'Zetec' & 'TDCI' badges giving the boot a clean look :) I’m looking into getting the engine chipped or remapped at the moment, as well as some other cosmetic changes, I’ve held off not doing too much because of warranty but only 1 year left so i might just go mad! Did you add that body kid to your focus yourself? As i see in your profile that it didn’t use to look like that.

Did you add that body kit to your focus yourself? As i see in your profile that it didn’t use to look like that. No problem mate, and yes i purchased the full Zetec s kit from ford in the uk in june/july 2011 but I’ve had it stored up in the attic since then and finally got it down from their and fitted in early may of this year, cost me 400 euro to get it sprayed and fitted which was a complete bargain in my opinion, and frees up some space in the attic too lol my focus was a style model too but is now almost a Zetec s with an st dashboard. Regarding the remapping of your car mate, assuming your car is the 90bhp 1.6TDCi You can fit 110ps injectors from ford but they may need to be coded to the engine by ford diagnostic software, not a big job but your local ford dealer may charge 100 euro for this service, however when fitted along with a remap, a K&N filter and a code red intercooler, you would see your Bhp go from 90 all the way to around 156bhp!! And the cost for the intercooler, filter and injectors is probably around 1,000euro all in, then your remap around 300-400 euro but well worth it for an additional 76bhp and lots more torque while still retaining the economical fuel consumption. Here are some links to assist you in what i have been talking about: Code Red Intercooler Upgrade: http://www.european-...products_id=789 they were selling for 850 last year now down to less than 300euro K&N Induction Filter http://www.european-...roducts_id=1096 Ford Focus 110 Injectors http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3a6c03699a Code Red Engine Remap Unit http://www.european-...products_id=721 you buy the unit then download the remap for your TDCi engine from the internet to the unit, then plug the unit in to your focus to remap the ecu. Lenny
Haha its alright mate. I think ill definitely be picking up the zetec s body kit like you, i wasnt aware you could buy it as an add on, how much was it from Ford if you dont mind me asking :-) i purchased the kit from the same listings and seller as listed below, rear Diffuser http://www.ebay.co.u...=item588e7d03fc Front lip http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c1cc2899e ST/Zetec S rear Spoiler http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d00992bd0 ST/Zetec S side skirts 5 door Click Here ST/Zetec S side skirts 3 door Click Here Zetec S front lower grill Click Here Zetec S front upper grill Click Here Ford S badge for the fenders Click Here focus zetec s custom mud flaps (Supplied with fitting Guide) http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2a1e4de0e6 but now the price of a ST front bumper is cheaper than the zetec s front lip so you could purchase an st bumper and have a replica for much the same price. although when fitting the st front bumper you would require a new front lower grill and maybe some fog light surround sections. st front bumper http://www.ebay.co.u...=item19bab13eee St upper grill http://www.ebay.co.u...=item19d15f5697 St lower Grill http://www.ebay.co.u...=item19ca6c0d5b St Rear Bumper http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c1e1b7769 Here are the ford fitting guides for the front lip and rear diffuser so you can see what is envolved if you were considering fitting them yourself or purchasing from the breakers, Rear Diffuser http://www.fordowner...__fromsearch__1 Front lip http://www.fordowner...__fromsearch__1 and finally here is my thread with before and after pictures in it: http://www.fordowner...__fromsearch__1 ..............
