I have a S-Max 140 Titanium delivered in January this year which is experiencing problems eg key not detected when in the car and also when running and you drop a passenger off it says key outside of car has anyone else experienced this problem

    Hi mate

    I get this problem sometimes with my focus. When I get in or drop someone off it comes up with a verbal and noise warning. The best way to get around it is just to press the unlock button on the remote. If that doesn't clear it you will have to stop the car then restart to clear. Can get anoying and only seems to happen on my car when the fuel is getting low. Just a coincidence I think
