Had my car professionally detailed today by Pristine Machine. it needed it badly, was swirled like crazy!

Take a wild guess, and consider I dropped it off at 8m and picked it up at 6pm......on a SATURDAY!

:'( I have always washed my car myself but thought about having it professionally done like yourself to get rid of swirls etc but then at the same time I've thought about getting a polishing machine. But then in untrained hands it could be deadly :P

£80 sounds cheap to me. Do you know what they used in terms of wax etc? I'm guessing Meguairs from the t-shirt the person had on?

My car was previously a company car and due to the paint damage I am guessing it was only ever washed through a car wash.

After giving the paintwork a thorough cleaning, then applying a 'Lifeshine' kit and finally a good waxing I have removed a lot of the marks but it could defiantly use some professional care like yours.

I just wash it n that my self! I use meguires clay as well as the paint restorer, can take me a good day to do properly but it comes out amazing, but it's not cheap to buy the gear

Mine was owned by a single female owner for the first 3 years and it was swirled badly so I guess she only ever did auto washes too.

Since the price was right I thought what the hey.

Besides I tried to wax/polish a car before and it look red reels.

I avoid car washes like the plague.

Luckily I have a really good hot jet wash place not far away and about 15 Polish hand washers set up all over the area.
