Is claying easy to do and what does it do as I've never done it before

Claying is quite fun really and has great results, you can see the dirt that is being removed. You get a clay bar and a bottle of quick detailer (lubrication) they come In sets from your usually car cleaning shops / online

You spray the car in small sections and glide the clay over the top and rub lightly with your finger tips.

Meguiars have good video guides on their website which I learnt a lot from

    Claying is anything but fun. It's long, tedious and back-breaking work which is why I generally avoid it!

    Marc you're more than welcome to come have some 'fun' with my car if it ends up as clean as yours!

    I reckon I have a slight OCD with cleaning / detailing cars Mwahaha, nothing else though.

    Claying is by far easier than polishing, I find that's the back breaking stuff.

    One of thes days I'll have to upload a pic of my detailing gear :D

    I think Im the same as you don't really find it fun just very therapeutic i quite happily spend hours picking of little black specs of dirt you can only see from an inch away
