2008 Focus Titanium 3 Door Water Under Carpet Drivers Footwell

hi can someone please help, any information would be great, i have 58 reg focus and found there is water under carpet in drivers footwell, seems to be dry all round the top of the surronding carpet seems to be just where your feet rest any ideas? thanks mick
