Hid Lights Not Starting Up Properly On Mk7 2009 Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

i recently installed a HID Kit on my 2009 Fiesta 1.4 TITANIUM to replace my normal H7 Halogen bulbs to 6000k Xenon's it was okay for a while but then i noticed that sometimes the HID's don't start up properly, they turn on for a split second and then they go off again, just wanted to see if any one else has experienced anything like this or if any one knows what this could be???

Cant be having light issues on these dark nights!!!

Don't want to give the old bill a reason to pull me over either!!!

NEED TO SORT IT!!! :-)

Thanks in advance,

i look forward to the feed back...

hat kit are they, AC or DC, 35 or 55W? How much were they?

Sounds like a crappy kit to me personally.

I have no problems with me 8000k, must be a crapy set to be blunt!

Other than that try making sure the connections or done properly and that the wires aren't moving in and out of connection if you get what I mean....

If they blink on then off the ballast is u/s. I work with fluorescent lights that have the same set up ie electronic ballasts and they do the same

8000k... pushing it a bit aren't we? :P

Haha they are no issues what so ever haha 😜

My fiesta :)

I'm on 55W 6000K's for my dipped beams, considering upgrading the H1's to some 55W HID's too, and then some 15W HID's for reversing :P

Haha they are no issues what so ever haha

NEE NER! Oops crikey!
