dumdum0910 Posted November 29, 2012 Share Posted November 29, 2012 Im asking on behalf of a friend , hes got a mk5 fiesta van 1.8tddi endura, the fuel pump solenoid is leaking diesel, I've seen a video on youtube on how to remove the solenoid but my question is can you buy a replacement seal for these? ill be going to ford for this part Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dumdum0910 Posted November 30, 2012 Author Share Posted November 30, 2012 went to ford today, you cant buy the seals separately, you have to buy the solenoid as well, anyway I found out were the leak was coming from, the sealant in the end cap has all broken up and been eaten by the diesel , so what sealant does every 1 recommend to use to reseal it, must be fuel/diesel resistant.
