2009 Ford Fiesta Titanium Sony Radio Unit

Featured Replies

Hello

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit the sony radio into a 2009 fiesta titanium?

I currently have the normal radio unit with AUX input, however, i would like to install bluetooth and USB along with the sony radio unit.

Does anyone know how to go about this or even if it could be done?

Thanks

Dont think it can be done for ours, the sony has different connections then out radio so it isnt a direct swap, not to sure if theres differens looms for it though.

For a pre-2010 Fiesta you would need to create a loom adapter - info here.

Retrofitting Bluetooth & USB is possible, but you will need the 9 button stereo, bigger screen, Bluetooth USB module, indicator stalk with voice control button, map reading light with microphone, and all associated wiring, fascia and connections.

I know of 2 people that have done it successfully.

I fitted a Sony to my 2009MY Fiesta.

You will need to make the loom adapter and buy a radio adaptor though.

Also if you are changing the screen, you will need one designed for a pre June 2010 fiesta. The Sony screen will not work.
