PubeHeed
I have a 1.3 mk4 finesse. I CANNOT for the life of me get this car over 97... Is this the same for other cars or is it just my car is screwed?
Steve
you may find thats all it has. But as a responsible admin, i have to ask you that i hope your doing that on a track? ;)
Marcr1
All cars over time drop horse power and even in its hay day a 1.3 wouldn't get a whole lot more than 110mph
swhite87
thats pretty much the max speed on a standard mk4 but i'm surprised the push rods didnt try and jump through the bonnet at the same time :P

b1g_dav3
My newish 1.6 diesel only got up to 121, they're not sports cars :P
PubeHeed
Yeah it was on private land. My mate lives on an estate, and he's got the same car as I do and he can get 105, but mines in better nic and less mileage on it. It's confusing tbh.. b1g_dav3
Mileage hasn't got a right lot to do with it, some engines just have more power than others. You can typically see around 10% from the best to the worst.
