Fiesta Mk5 Water Trouble

Featured Replies

Hi all,

i am currently having an issue with condensation... everytime i go in the car i have water on the inside of all my windows.

when the weather is cold i also get ice on the inside of the windscreen, i was wondering if anyone might have an ideas as to why this is happening.... maybe one of the seals has gone?

when i open the boot and look at the window from the inside i can see the rubber on the back window has gone a slight orange colour could this be the problem? i dont know if this is common on my model.

i have a Fiesta Mk5 Zetec S 2001 Plate.

Any help would be great.

Cheers.

Try using the air conditioning a bit more often, this will condense the moisture out of the cabin. The window rubber dis-colouration is mould.

Check your water level in the engine is not dropping, points to a heater matrix leak and check the pollen filter seal (if you have one) this is an entry point for water.
