2005 Ford Fiesta 1.25

Featured Replies

I'm new to the forum. Anyone out there able to help? I have a 2005 fiesta 1.25 which has a severe misfire when cold. Have replaced the plugs and leads, but still the same. Engine OK when warm. No engine management light on, and no fault codes either.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Iain

Coil pack mate. Had the exact same problem. Best thing to do is drop your car off at a garage the night before and get them to start it from cold the next morning and they should be able to find out exactly which one it is

Cheers. Will get one this week. Had thought about it, but believed that a faulty one would have brought on engine management light.

No there was no lights whatsoever on. It was just stuttering for the first few miles as if it was struggling then as soon as it warmed up it ran fine n would be fine for the rest of the day generally

Where abouts in ayrshire you from?
