Bottom Ball Joints On 2000 Focus

Featured Replies

So at a routine tyre change last week, the guy told me that my bottom ball joints (both) on the front end have worn and will need replacing soon. I have only had the car a short while and I'm not exactly the most mechanically minded guy in the world...

Just wondering if anyone has any idea on approx costs involved in getting this work done, before I take it in and end up getting fleeced that is...

The guy said he doesn't do it himself but I'd probably be looking around £100 for both of them replaced. Does this sound like a realistic cost to you or is this guy way off?

Thanks.

best to do the hole lower arm so all 3 bushes are replaced on both sides, £100 quid for the job is a good price. make sure you get the front tracking done aswell because it will be out once they have removed the bits and fitted new arms.
