mummybird
My focus diesel estate (2002) has had to have the wheel bearings replaced three times in two years. Has anyone else had this problem?
stef123
Hello and welcome, Do you know what brand of bearings have been fitted? also incorrect fitting will cause them to fail sooner
mummybird
As far as I know they were genuine ford parts from a ford dismantler. I pretty sure my better half has fitted them correctly. He used to own a garage.
mummybird
He's actually at our local garage fitting them now. I'll get more details of him when he returns. Thanks

mummybird
We had new bearings, fitted by a garage a year ago, but this time it was a rear hub & drums from the ford dismantlers. Sounds perfect now. Had trouble with Nearside and offside.
