Resetting Mpg Display On New Shape Fiesta

My MPG display seems to be stuck on 38.3 mpg, I have tried to zero it in the same way as zeroing the trip counter, ie pressing in the little stud on the rev counter dial but nothing happens. Do i have a prob with the computer or should I be doing something different?

    Try pushing the end of the indicator stalk in and holding it for a few seconds.

    I've got the facelift fiesta, to re-set the mpg do as iNath said

    Most re-settings on the computer require the button to be held in for 5+ seconds before a change takes place.
