Sorry this has been gone over a million times. But does the slim 2009 fascia which holds the slim screen as shown in the link below, fit the taller square screen? Better yet the Sony DAB system?

Yes they're all the same size. You'll notice the 'slim' screen has a big black section around the outside to fill the gap (a bit like watching 4:3 picture on a widescreen TV) where the larger one & Sony fill the gap.

I am contemplating the OEM DVD GPS Screens. Like those on Car-Vision next month?

It is most likely that yours will not have the right connection, but you won't know until you remove it.

There's nothing intrinsically wrong with WinCE software per se as an OS, it's how the apps are programmed that usually is the cause of grief. My Compaq PDA ran for years with it, and it only flaked out when I put buggy apps on it, remove them and it became rock solid again.

Agreed. Most SatNav's are equipped with CE. CE based on XP (the best Windows to date).

Any chance of reviews on these models?
