I have a 1.25 mk6 fiesta and the wind took the driver side door yesterday.. the little arm that stops the door from opening too wide snapped clean in half!.. =(

How do I fix it?.. Not a new door, I hope!..

    Think you can buy a replacement arm for it and if ford say not then figure out how it comes of and call a breakers yard. Wouldn't have thought you'd need a new door

    Find a breakers with a damaged door, few will remove it from a complete door unfortunately, but one that can't be sold will probably be a good bet.

    Go to your dealer and ask for a. Check strap. Thats what they are called
