I believe that's a 'paraffin TU544Z', easy mistake, but I believe you're looking for an 'oil SU763' (they do look very similar)  😂

Wow, that's so helpful.

The boot light is normally very easily accessible. Usually just held on with a plastic lens removed gently with a flat nosed screwdriver to reveal a festoon style bulb. It's unlikely you'll get someone to answer directly with an answer, but when you do get access to the bulb, and still have issues, post a photo of bulb and we'll let you know what it is...

By "boot light" do you mean the boot interior light?

"Boot light" could also possibly mean the high level brake light or the number plate lights.

If it looks anything like the one in this ebay listing, the bulb is a type 501 - 12v 5 watt capless.

Hi all,

Has anyone installed 382 style rear brake bulbs in their MK3 / MK3.5 (facelift) Titanium X? The Titanium X has integrated LED tail lights it doesn't use the dual filaments.

I'm wondering if it'd be more reliable as the Autobeam 380 LED bulbs I have failed in the dim state on one side when applying brakes.

Looking online there is no definite answer it seems and the manual doesn't mention specifically for the Titanium X Focus which are the only ones that come with integrated LED tail lights

Thank you
