Nope they're definately D8S bulbs they're new and mercury free and if you're planning on upgrading them good luck finding one haha fords great idea because they use 20% less energy than usual bixenon bulbs which is the reason they arent quite as bright

You've got bixenon headlights which means dipped and main beam uses the same bulb

The Hid system is D3S 35W made by osram

Then there is a h7 bulb and a h1 bulb

I just changed my h7's to philips extremevision's

Sorry im thinking of the ST. The ST is different from the titanium if you read back through the post someone else has had the same lol

If you read your owners manual it will say in that

lol i did say it was a titanium x and it is the "new focus" lol as the facelift isnt out yet

I know its been a while since I posted about that previously. I wasnt on about the facelift the ST is definately D8S bulbs though

all is forgiven mate, its easy to be confused, espech that ford are making it more and more difficult for us to mod our cars

Can anyone help me find a clear side repeater bulb for my 2008 focus mk2.5. I can't help but notice the amber spec in the wing mirror and desperately want rid of it.

will i need canbus ready 501 leds for front side lights on mk2 focus or does it not matter?

If you're fitting LED's then yes.

I'm currently resolving an issue with mine whereby the sidelight and dash lights come on when I brake.

It's purely down to low reaistance in the circuit and I'm trying out a couple of workarounds right now.

ok, looked at some on fleabay, and a few said not canbus ready and tbh i had no clue what that meant, so canbus ready only :)

whats the best way to get to interior light? Does the cover just pop out?

I just used my hands mate. Just get a firm but not too firm grip on it and pull straight down sorry. Not at an angle as you could break the little tabs that attatched to the unit.

ok so fitted the festoon led earlier, didnt know how good it would be until it was dark, looks awesome and more clean, noticed a problem though, when the interior light is set in middle position(comes on when doors open etc) the light is on only very dim. when i turn the light off completely it goes out? any ideas why?
