Nice going over with Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax.

Looking forward to the rain now so I can observe the beading :)

Filled my tank with Esso Supreme Diesel for a trial and so far after a 85 mile run today the engine seems happier.

The XR3i has started for the first time in 6 years :)

see if your wallets as happy as your engine haha

Ive done the same for the past couple of weeks, alternating 91 RON and 95 RON for each week

see if your wallets as happy as your engine haha

Ive found the engine runs quieter at idle and 100r/pm lower on the 95 than it does on the 91. It might cost a little bit more but I am happy to pay for the improvements. Its a small tank so it doesn't make much difference really

Nice one!

Watch out for stale petrol - it can even solidify if left for long enough

Drained the petrol and put a gallon of vpower in, running a bit rough though at the moment.

So I've picked her up this afternoon from Collins Performance and wow, what a difference! The torque just keeps pulling!

Total cost so far for cat back exhaust and remap £0. She's now putting out 140ps at the wheel :D

I'm back in a week or so for a Finsport induction kit and will be the test car for auto specialists intercooler :D

Collins are looking for someone with a 100ps version for remaps, FOC so anyone in the Cheshire/North West after a free remap let me know!

I'll try and post up the dyno screenshot soon.

What did you do to your fiesta today ?

Had the windscreen replaced for a third time since 6th Jan due national windscreens not doing their job right.

Thats bad! are you claiming money back from it or is it your insurance that is dealing with it ?

Placed a thin t-shirt over my boot hatch to stop a rattle.

I removed the wing mirror covers as the previous owner attacked them with pound land spray and it was pealing badly, looks bitter with no covers than the pealing paint that looked like seagul !Removed!!

Removed my old side strips ready for the custom one off ones to be put on when i can :)

Washed it... Again lol

Changed a headlamp bulb in the rain after blowing one 40 miles from home on a horrible dark A38.

Had my 135,000 km service with a wheel alignment and rotate no problems at all, the garage managed once again to break the caps off some off my wheel lugs though

Not keen for the next service where the Timing belt will be due for a replacement $$$$

Car sat at home undrivable!!!

Every time i go out the fan sticks on for ages and you can smell...Burnt rubber or burnt something!!!

PLUS - sidelights keep blowing, and i'm fed up with it!!

Phoned dealers and its been a week.... no ring back!

The problem is a stuck realy , fuse number r1 under the bonnet , disconnect the battery take the fuse out and give the dirty connectors a file with a nail file or sand paper try pluging it back in and see how you get on

if it dose not work you can buy the realy from for im sure its £26

but cleaning it should do the trick

cheers

I Put in a tenner petrol - car went up 22 miles on the range - next time I'll fill her up I think :)

I like the side stripes - I know there not everyone's cup of tea but I think they look nice - some carbon mountune ones ... - saw this on an American fiesta that looked pretty cool too IMO post-27159-0-18669000-1390522405_thumb.j
